TESTIMONIALS

"Tom is an amazing arranger, producer, and mixer — and for extra credit, he self-installed a genius-songwriter-skills expansion pack in his brain. Truly a musical and arranging genius, and I’ve been lucky to have recorded and written with him.

It’s pretty rare to find someone with songwriting chops AND technical chops. And a great guy! Tom is the whole package — Couldn’t recommend working at his studio more! (You can hear some of the results on Jukebox the Ghost songs like Us Against the World, Kennedies, Flash, and I Got a Girl)"

-Tommy Siegel
Jukebox the Ghost

"I've known Tom for many years now, and whether it is live or in the studio, working with him always guarantees great musical ideas, beautiful performances and truly original and innovative ideas. Not only does he play (and sings !) beautifully, but he also is a true master in the studio in capturing his uniqueness.
And wait...he is also a really nice guy to be with
So whether it is for my personal projects or for other people I would produce or arrange music for, from Clare and the Reasons to John Legend, I always chose Tom"

-Olivier Manchon, co-producer of John Legend

"I recorded I, Sunflower at Pineapple Room Studio in the Fall of 2019. I would not have been able to do it without Tom's ears, instincts, his gentle guidance, and now I have something beautiful and perfect to share for the rest of my life. He is a master of sound, a brilliant and thoughtful musician, patient, creative, and I won't record with anyone else."

-Paul Arendt

Tom is a virtuoso musician and a technically masterful recording engineer, and a thoughtful person who is very pleasant to work with. He puts in a lot of hours staying up to date with audio knowledge that could help him be a better engineer and listener. Right away you can tell he takes his craft and the needs of the artist seriously. As a result, he’s got it all, the skill set, artistic intuition, genre versatility, patience and gentleness, mindfulness of time and efficiency, and a rigorous work ethic; virtues very rarely found in the same person in the industry. We worked with him to record our debut album, by no means a simple task as it required more finesse than usual in balancing eastern/western instruments rarely played together, and Tom dove right in. It was incredible to see him integrate everything that he brings to the table and produce an album that radio DJs in our genre of music termed “masterfully recorded, sounding super”.
